InqScribe's transcript window is "plain text" and does not support formatting such as tables. However, we can suggest two methods for using InqScribe with a table-based program:

  • Many of our users use the TAB key to delineate columns and the RETURN key to delineate rows, so you can export your transcript as "tab-delimited text" for use in table-based programs such as Excel or Word.
  • Other users export their InqScribe transcript as HTML, which creates an HTML-based table format, and then open the resulting HTML file directly in Word (since Word supports HTML files).

For a step-by-step guide on how to format your transcript as tables, read this article on InqScribe's blog.
