Though it is not required, we recommend that all Mac users install QuickTime 7, since it supports many features that are not supported by the more recent QuickTime X (in Mac OS 10.6 and higher) and Windows Media Player (in Windows).

Windows and Mac users can download QuickTime 7 for free from Apple’s website.

Note: Due to security risks, we no longer recommend QuickTime for Windows users (more on this subject here).

If you are using Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6) or later, download QuickTime 7.6.6
If you are using Mac OS X Leopard (10.5), download QuickTime 7.6.9
If you use Windows, download QuickTime 7.6
