InqScribe cannot play Flash (.flv) movies directly because it relies on QuickTime and QuickTime does not play .flv movies.

However, it is relatively easy to convert .flv movies to a format that InqScribe can recognize (such as .mp4) using free widely available tools.

Handbrake is a free conversion application that can convert from .flv to .mp4.  It can also convert DVDs and  can even handle batch conversions if you have many files.
