By default, InqScribe is set to skipback 8 seconds when you use the key combination Ctrl-Tab. If you find that 8 seconds is too long or too short, you can change it. Here’s how:

1. Go to the Edit menu and select “Edit Shortcuts…”

2. Click on “Skipback (8 sec)”

3. Change the “Skip” field to whatever value you want, e.g. “4”.

4. Click “Done”.

Now when you hit Ctrl-Tab, the video will only skip back 4 seconds.
