On a Windows PC:

1. Download InqScribe from: https://www.inqscribe.com/download.html (be sure to wait til the download is complete).

2. On your desktop (or wherever your downloaded files are located), double click the installer called “InqScribe." Windows installers will end with an “.exe"

3. You may get a message from Windows Defender SmartScreen, warning you about running an unrecognized app. To continue installation, select "More info" and then select "Run anyway". For more about why you're seeing this when trying to install InqScribe, head over to this support article.

4. Simply follow the steps in the installer wizard.

5. Consider creating a desktop icon to easily access InqScribe.

6. After installation is complete, feel free to delete the InqScribe installer ".exe" file.

On a Mac:

1. Download InqScribe from: https://www.inqscribe.com/download.html (be sure to wait til the download is complete).

2. On your desktop (or wherever your downloaded files are located), double click the installer called “InqScribe” Mac installers will end with a “.dmg”

3. The installer will open a window containing the InqScribe application. Drag that application to your Mac’s “Applications” folder.

4. Once InqScribe has successfully installed, you may want to drag the InqScribe icon to your desktop or Dock for easy access.

5. After installation feel free to "eject" and delete the InqScribe installer ".dmg" file.

After you’ve installed InqScribe on your computer, you may want to register it. Here are instructions on entering a license code.
